ABOUT THE WORK

The artwork by Kristina Krogh is made from resin and hand-harvested salt from Sicily. The salt is shaped into gentle, undulating curves, creating subtle ridges and valleys that cast soft shadows across the textured surface.
The use of salt as a medium, with its organic texture and transformative qualities, adds depth and intrigue to the piece, inviting the viewer to engage with it on a sensory level. The simplicity and repetition of the salt grains evoke a sense of calm and natural flow to the composition.
